Most who call Christians hypocrites, have no clue about religion except their own knowledge or experience from somewhere in their walk of life. They don’t dare come to church to see if it is true or not. They are satisfied to stay in their own little world of; I believe in Jesus, I was baptized, I have read the bible, I pray, so this is good enough for me.
So, if one believes that he is a Christian because he was baptized must know that at the time of baptism or accepting Jesus as their savior, he made a statement of faith saying that he would follow in the way of Jesus. You have made a covenant with God; I will change my way of living to follow Jesus’s example. Now to do this we, must go to church to be fed spiritually, to learn how to go about not giving in to sin as much and hopefully not at all. Christians know that they will sin; but if they are around others who will help keep them accountable then they are on the track of sinning less and less. (Have you heard they saying, you are the company you keep). It’s not that Christians are trying to find fault with you, it is because they are trying to help you with your shortcomings; they are showing you Christian love by trying to impress upon where some work needs to be done in your struggle. Believe me, we all have our demons, whether it is lying, alcohol, sex, stealing, temper, cheating, drugs and the list can go on and on. We have been there, WE DIFFENTLY ARE NOT PERFECT.

Luke 6:42
42 How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

We know we are not perfect, we know you are not perfect, and we know it is a daily struggle to get up and put one foot in front of the other to walk the Christian path. With all the controversy of being politically correct because someone thinks different then you. Jesus wants us not only to know and agree to his ways, but to walk in his way as perfect as we can and we are to do it for God’s glory. Therefore, you should read the bible daily, to see how and where the devil will attack you if your guard is down. If you have this understanding then you can apply it in your daily life to set an example for others as Jesus did for us. Remember it is your choice and your decision, it begins with you right now.

Life and its Choices

Until you’re the age where you can get out on your own, you are under the tutelage and care of your parents. Hopefully they will have provided you with the basic needs of life; clothing, food, shelter and the ability to get an education. If you had that then you have an upper hand on most in this world today. Now what do I do with the opportunities afforded me? In this country, there are countless things you can be or become; not so much in other parts of the world. Most, not all decisions and choices in this phase of your life was made by your parents; for good or bad. Guess what, now it’s your turn. I am sure you will do so much better!

Decision time:
How am I going to provide for my basic needs?
Where am I going to live? Alone or with friends.
Am I going to continue my education or get a job?
What am I going to do for entertainment; party, do drugs, accost girls?
Isn’t life to be lived to the fullest; because life is short?

Decisions, decisions, decisions. Choices, choices, choices. ONLY YOU CAN DECIDE!!! Do not forget; along with decisions and choices come consequences either in this life or eternity.

It might surprise some of you that there are answers in the bible, that can and will help you if have an open and willing mind to read and learn. Here again is the words choice and decision. I can tell you, life with Jesus is better than life without Jesus. This doesn’t mean you will have life like a bowl of cherries, it means that you will spend eternity in heaven, and not hell. It means when something confronts you, there is a peace and understanding. It means I have another choice and decision to make. It means I put my faith in God to carry me through this particular part of his grand plan.

Men must consider their own hearts to understand the meaning of life and the consequences. We are born into the world without the choice of what our nationality is, who are parents are to be or the time of our death. We did not have a choice. This was decided for us by God. Now with this said we do have the choice of what happens to us between our birth and death and how it effects all those that cross our paths in this time frame. This will be how we are judged when we stand before Jesus, awaiting our reward from judgement which will place us in eternal life in heaven or damnation in the lake of fire called hell.

The BIBLE - A Book of Treasure

A treasure map is a map that marks the location of buried treasure, a lost mine, A VALUABLE SECRET or a hidden locale.

The treasure map may serve several purposes as a plot device in works of fiction, and why not non-fiction such as life itself:

This being the definition of a treasure map, could not the bible be a treasure map in its own sense? Does it not contain valuable secrets on how to get to heaven and everlasting life? Is there not, clues on how to live, how to avoid certain conflicts?

John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

This verse would be a good starting point. For this to make since to some, we must know why Jesus came to be here on earth as man, as God, as the holy spirit. We must start in the old testament, at the beginning of creation, the fall of man and what happens when you disobey God. God gave instructions on how to live and when that did not work he destroyed the lives of man and animals except for an old man who was a drunk, a righteous man according to God. He and his wife, their 3 sons and their wives plus a male and a female of all the animals were put in the ark before the great flood.

From this point on you will find God using people in various stages of their lives, brought on not by their choices alone, but choices of others, that crossed their life be it family, friends or enemy. He used them for his purpose not theirs and in his time.

I am going to stop here and hopefully give you something to think about. “Think outside the box”, see what is going on around you, who or what is in your life that is causing you pain and despair. I will bet, you have an “Empty Heart”. The devil has snuck in without you realizing it happened. One of the ways to help prevent this from happening, is read something in the bible daily and ask God to reveal to you, what he wants you to get out of the scripture. There is a clue, you must want it to be revealed and accept the answer given, even though it may not be the answer desired.

Matt 7:7-8
7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

When you do this with humility, sincerity, persistence, and with a proper spirit, God will show his answer in his time, his way, for your betterment.

IN THE MEAN TIME KEEP LOOKING FOR THE CLUES IN GOD’S WORD.

May CHRIST Reign Through You
