1 Peter 5:8
Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
About five years ago events happened that changed my life for the worse. I let the outside world affect my heart of serving Jesus. I did not even go to church for the first two years. In the next three years, I once again began stepping through the door of at least three different churches, but still would not let people get close to me.
In all of this, I still believed in Jesus and his way. The problem was my study habits, enthusiasm of serving was not the way it should. I had an Empty Heart. I was just going through the motions of loving Jesus and serving him.
In March of this year 2017, “Keep JESUS in your heart” kept popping up in my mind. The other thing happening was a change going on in my wanting to serve Jesus again as before with him in charge.
Before the Empty Heart Syndrome hit me, I enjoyed filling the pulpit wherever I was asked. I went to Guadalupe, Mexico to an orphanage called Rancho 3M with our church, I helped with Stroke Camp since my dad died of a stroke and my sister-in-law had a stroke in 2008 and passed 5 years later. I went to an event called the Great Banquet where you will find the Holy Spirit crying out to you. I served on a couple of teams of the Great Banquet plus served on a prison team which is quite the experience. At my stage in life I cannot do the physical things in life that I would like to be able to do. My only way to support these things is to do as Jesus instructed in.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
What better way to reach people then through social media or going to a church if invited.
